ABOUT LAURA

Laura worked in the technology industry for thirty years leading teams, delivering successful projects, and coaching colleagues through tough situations. She found many of the same political and people-based issues at every company she worked at as a consultant, advisor, or employee from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies. 

This experience influenced her goal to create a new genre of women’s fiction written by and about powerful female executives and the unique challenges women over‐ come at work and at home. 

So many of us have compelling stories to tell about terrible toxicity we have conquered at work and how we found balance at home. None of us are going through this alone. With courage, creativity, and self-awareness, we will succeed in work, life, and love. I encourage all of us to write our stories (fictionalized, of course). The more we talk about it, the better things will be for those who come after us.
